Some 3PLs quote $1 to $2 per order for fulfillment. Nobody can pick, pack and ship an order for $1.50 and stay in business, so the margin has to come from somewhere. Almost always it's shipping: the carrier rate gets marked up, surcharges get added, "handling" appears on the invoice, and the real cost shows up after your inventory is already on their shelves and moving it again is a project.
That's how a 3PL gets away with a headline price that low. You don't pay less. You pay later, on a line you weren't comparing.
Our pick fee starts at $2.60 and drops to $2.25 with volume, and it's on this page. Shipping is quoted up front, in writing, before you sign, and it doesn't move to make up for our fee. Carrier rates change with package size, weight and zone, which is why we quote them for your orders instead of printing a number on a web page.
